New Website Featuring Healthy Birth Practices

Just got this announcement in my email today from the Coalition for Improving Maternity Services (CIMS):

InJoy Birth and Parenting Education recently announced the launch of, a new website that provides free, easy-to-use information to help expectant parents have safer and healthier births. Healthy Birth Your Way: Six Steps to a Safer Birth is the first product available and was co-produced with Lamaze International. A printable18-page booklet and seven online video clips teach parents how to have a better birth experience through six simple steps that have been shown to reduce intervention and cesarean surgery rates. Lamaze's Six Healthy Birth Practices are based on recommendations by the World Health Organization and backed by extensive research that supports a woman's natural ability to give birth. . .

I couldn't wait to see the videos and was not disappointed. They are just wonderful! Please be advised, however, that, as with most graphics used in portraying birthing options, these are not intended to be viewed by men or children. Use caution by shielding the screen from others when viewing.
